Monday, February 7, 2022 - 6:00pm to 7:00pm

Our Wine & Conversation Book Club meets Monday evenings on Zoom. Our February meeting will be held Monday, February 7th at 6pm. Please see your book club email before the meeting date for details on how to join in via Zoom. For discussion February 7th: 'A Certain Hunger' by Chelsea G. Summers. Mimi says, " Protagonist Dorothy is an unforgettable character - unapologetic and snobby, a confident aesthete who is a killer psychopath writing her memoir from prison. I loved Summers' description of what it was like to live in New York in the 90's when magazines, publishing and living the high life were such a part of the zeitgeist of the city. And the ending was fabulous too. Reminiscent of early Donna Tartt and Bret Easton Ellis."

One of Vanity Fair's Books That Will Get You Through This Winter
"One of the most uniquely fun and campily gory books in my recent memory... A Certain Hunger has the voice of a hard-boiled detective novel, as if metaphor-happy Raymond Chandler handed the reins over to the sexed-up femme fatale and really let her fly. --The New York Times
