Join La Playa Books in bringing the joy of reading to a 5th grader this holiday season. Our holiday book drive of 2023 supports the 5th graders at Burbank Elementary School in Barrio Logan and the 4th grade class of Cabrillo Elementary in Point Loma. Our goal is to provide a brand new book to each kid. The gift of reading and ownership of a fledgling library is up to you! The impact is great and the cheer is celebrated. You can also pop into the store and participate in the book drive in person! Here's how it all works:
IN PERSON:
-stop in the store choose and purchase a token ornament off our Christmas tree or make a donation directly.
OR ONLINE:
-click on the special donation link here and you will be taken to our Square Donation Link where you may donate online
Books will be wrapped and delivered to the kids' class before their winter break. We'll keep you posted on the success of your donation!
